We spent a great and very Mexican 🇲🇽 evening with the renowned historian and expert on traditional Mexican music, Álvaro Ochoa Serrano, who presented the third edition of his book "Manual del Mariachi" (Mariachi Manual).This event offered a unique opportunity to explore and reflect on the history and evolution of mariachi, one of the most iconic traditions in Mexican culture.
The event featured a special review by Maya Piña, a prominent cultural manager, transgender rights activist, passionate art writer, and editorialist and performances by Carlos Aviña and his group and Mariachi Fuego from UIC.
