Anel Pérez was appointed as the new director of the CEPE-UNAM Centro de Enseñanza para Extranjeros by the chancellor of UNAM, Leonardo Lomelí Vanegas. In a ceremony held at the CEPE facilities, William Lee, coordinator of International Relations and Affairs, congratulated the new director and assured that her enthusiastic and committed work will be fundamental to continue the academic and internationalization work carried out by CEPE.
The new director mention that the teaching of Spanish and Mexican culture is essential to make UNAM and the country known worldwide.
For her part, the new director asked the community of this school with a great tradition to work as a team so that future plans can be successfully realized.
She promised to work with a gender perspective in this new stage in which the student will be the center of the work of this administration. He referred to the work of the CEPE, which works with great intelligence and enthusiasm and will take advantage of all the opportunities that the university commitment offers.
Also present were Tamara Martínez Ruiz, Secretary of Institutional Development, and the outgoing Director, Alberto Vital, who thanked the support for his administration.
