Since arriving in Chicago, participants in the PUMA Summer Program (July edition) have enjoyed an immersive experience that combines English language and cultural learning with academic and cultural activities.
Through their daily English and culture classes, students have strengthened their language skills while gaining a deeper understanding of life in Chicago. They also toured the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) and later enjoyed a cultural evening at Tuesdays on the Terrace, where they attended a performance by La Escuelita Bombera de Corazón.
Participants also took part in a language exchange and visited the Consulate General of Mexico in Chicago, the Chicago Cultural Center, and the Art Institute of Chicago, giving them the opportunity to explore some of the city's most important diplomatic, cultural, and artistic institutions.
It has been a week filled with learning, connection, and cultural exchange—one that continues to enrich their international experience in Chicago.
