With great enthusiasm, UNAM Chicago welcomed the students participating in the PUMA Summer Immersion Program – July 2026. On July 27, participants began their program with a welcome ceremony, followed by their first English language and culture class; they enjoyed a welcome lunch featuring Chicago's iconic deep-dish pizza and toured the Harold Washington Library, marking the beginning of their academic, linguistic, and cultural immersion in the city.
Over the course of two weeks of academic and cultural activities, participants will engage in a dynamic learning experience designed to be both enriching and unforgettable.
