From July 28 to August 8, eighteen students from various academic disciplines in Mexico participated in a linguistic and cultural immersion program that combined high-quality English classes, engaging activities, and visits to some of Chicago’s most iconic sites, including the Art Institute of Chicago and the Chicago Cultural Center, among others.
The closing ceremony was filled with heartfelt and inspiring words from both the UNAM Chicago team and some of the students, who expressed their satisfaction with this international unique opportunity.
During their stay, they strengthened their professional and personal skills, built meaningful connections, and created memories that will enrich their academic and personal lives in the foreseeable future. We wish them every success and hope to hear from them again soon.
